Join Bankstown Base Safety Officer, Ben Kiermaier and Special Guest Speaker, Shaun Holmes - CASA Aviation Safety Advisor.
Ben will share recent updates and key considerations for navigating restricted airspace.
Shaun Holmes is an Aviation Safety Advisor with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and a Grade 1 Flying Instructor with over 20 years of flying experience.
He brings extensive operational experience across flight training, air transport, emergency services and survey operations, low level aerobatics and air displays, formation flying, glider towing, banner towing, and parachuting operations.
In his presentation, “Managing Risks at Non-Controlled Aerodromes”, Shaun will discuss key-decision-making elements and practical tips for operating safely and efficiently, with a specific focus on Bathurst Aerodrome.
Shaun will be available to answer questions following the presentation.
